In this morning's adventure, I was moved human-Tetris style by an incredibly perky, over-caffeinated fellow commuter who informed me, as well as the 97 other people crammed onto the southbound 43, that I'd make more room if I turned sideways as she formed an L with her body and snaked around me. "I'm from New York," she said. I slowly turned around, to gaze upon the eyes of my fellow travelers, to see if anyone was sharing in this rare urban morning moment with me. My eyes set upon those of an attractive young woman seated nearby, who was one of the few people on that bus not seeking blissful safe harbor in the contents of their smartphone. Our eyes met. We shared a mischievious smile. And then the bell chimed for the next stop.
